In the
1970's and early 80's many will remember Peter
Macgregor Ltd. (as we were known then) as one of Ontario's preeminent burger and patty
processors supplying the independent drive-in burger business throughout the province.
With the onslaught of burger chains across the country well entrenched by the mid 80's, we
turned our focus towards portion controlled steak cutting and serving the casual and fine
dining establishments in Ontario. Macgregors has never forgot our "grinding"
roots, our famous "Tartan Burger" (a formula put together by Duncan Macgregor
Sr. himself) which we still make today, and our long history of burger and patty
processing.
Today we
have carved out a niche burger and patty business as we work closely with those customers
wanting their unique formula and/or something of our own to serve. Our
"Steakhouse" burger is a tried, tested, and true staple to many of our long
standing customers. What about a mouth watering Certified Angus Beef® ground chuck patty for
that discerning centre-of-the-plate customer looking to fill a hole in their stomach?
